Home is definitely where the heart is… BUT it is also where all the stuff is! And too much stuff (or clutter) often leads to stress and anxiety. Don’t just take our word for it. Research from a study out of UCLA’s Center on Everyday Lives of Families (CELF) shows that the amount of stress women experience at home is directly proportional to the amount of stuff they and their family had accumulated.

I’m certain you know that this is true without even reviewing the research because you’ve likely experienced it for yourself. You walk in to your kitchen to put away your groceries. Nothing has a designated place. It’s like a game of Tetris to squeeze items into the pantry and refrigerator. Forget about a grocery list because you have no clue if you’re out of cereal, rice, or mac & cheese because they could be hiding anywhere. It stresses me out just writing about it!
Now imagine this…. Every item has a spot. Like items are grouped together. Anyone could put away groceries or find what is needed to cook dinner. You could easily see when you are running low on your necessities (like kids snacks!) so you’re not scrambling to keep everyone happy and fed. Talk about life-changing!
But there’s more. Would you believe me if I said you can have a kitchen, closet, office, playroom, and even a pantry that functions perfectly AND is beautiful to look at? You won’t rush to close your pantry or laundry room door before friends come over because of the chaos hiding behind it. You might even want to leave those doors open to show off just how spectacularly they function (& look!) This is what curated style is all about.
