Have you ever met someone and instantly clicked with them? I’m pretty sure that’s how everyone feels about Megan because she’s so darn real and likeable. We did her initial consult with 2 of her FIVE kiddos underfoot and we shared stories from the mom trenches as we honed in on her style and needs. She wasn’t thrilled with the builder grade wire shelving or how her pantry was functioning but working full time and her packed family schedule didn’t leave her any time to find a solution.

So we set off to make Megan’s pantry functional (and beautiful!) One of the benefits of working with us is that we literally handle it all: creating the design plan, sourcing the needed organization supplies, recommending and managing any vendors, unloading your pantry, and every other step along the way!

Megan fell in love with the black wire Container Store baskets and we incorporated similar Salt produce bins to set the tone for the space. Their needs leaned heavy on function with a large family that is often on the go, so we added in acryllic can risers, turntables, and bins so that frequently used items were visible. Since they do have young children, we selected the OXO Pop Canisters for ease of accessing baking, rice, and breakfast grains. The kids snacks were placed on higher shelves so her toddlers didn’t help themselves to a snack buffet No pantry is complete without overflow bins and we added four to accommodate extras of their most frequently used items such as rice, canned fruits, water bottles, and more.

The mornings are crazy for this family so we set up a breakfast section in the pantry and also in the kitchen. The pantry features cereals and quick grab and go breakfast options while the kitchen cabinets function as an oatmeal and smoothie station. And of course we added in a full set of risers for the spices and a turntable for the oils to make cooking and food prep a breeze!

Megan also requested an arts and crafts section in the pantry for her kiddos to easily access. They loved having these close by but really needed a better system. We organized the supplies into these super useful caddies that the kids can easily carry to the kitchen table when they want to get creative and moved all of the paper and coloring books into magazine storage bins.

We absolutely loved working with this family to transform their pantry! And while the beautiful pictures make us oh so happy… it’s the texts, squeals of excitement as we reveal, and the calm that we provide that makes us the most happy!
