Calling all bakers!!! This Tuesday Tip & Trick is just for you! Who else has been making a perfect batch of cookies only to discover that your brown sugar is rock solid? This might have happened to me just this weekend while making the kiddos’ favorite cinnamon rolls! Thank goodness for this tool!
Leave it to the inventors of the brilliant POP canisters to solve my brown sugar dilemna, thank you OXO!

Enter the Brown Sugar Saver! This little disc of wonder is made of terra cotta to keep your brown sugar soft for up to three months. Simply soak the disc in water, dry thoroughly and then place into sealed container with brown sugar. Let the baking begin! This Brown Sugar Saver will save your day. It can fit all round POP Container lids but we recommend the Rectangle Short (1.7 Qt) which is sized for 2 lbs of brown sugar.
If you happen to store your brown sugar in a glass canister, don’t worry we have something for you too! Check out this Bee Sugar Saver which can be added to a canister, bag, jar, or box of sugar to keep it fresh.

Thanks again for checking out our Tuesday Tips & Tricks! Have questions or want our help on figuring out an organization, design, or home question? Drop us a line and we’d love to include it in a future feature!
PS – if you’ve never made homemade cinnamon rolls, here is a simple recipe that delivers some pretty darn amazing results without too much hassle. It’s our fave family tradition to make them on holidays and apparently we’ve now added Labor Day to the list of holidays that require cinnamon rolls!
