We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Assistant Organizer/Designer to support our Team Leads in delivering exceptional results.

Position Overview:
As an Assistant Organizer/Designer, you will work closely with our Team Leads to execute various organizing, move management, staging and design projects This role involves hands-on work in clients’ homes and offices, providing support to ensure every project runs smoothly and meets our high standards. You must be reliable, adaptable, and passionate about helping clients achieve a more organized and stylish living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead organizers with sorting, categorizing, and “containerizing” items to create functional and visually appealing spaces.

  • Support packing and unpacking tasks during move management projects, ensuring a stress-free transition for clients.

  • Create custom labels and help set up organizing systems according to client needs and preferences.

  • Manage on-site logistics, such as breaking down boxes, removing debris, and keeping workspaces tidy.

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos of project progress for internal use and client communications.

  • Provide on-site support during installations, furniture deliveries, and styling sessions, ensuring that the design is executed according to plan.

  • Assist with staging tasks by arranging items and furnishings to enhance the overall presentation of spaces.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; friendly, professional, and able to work with high-end clients.

  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Basic proficiency with smartphones and computers, particularly with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Calendar) for creating and sharing documents and schedules.

  • Physically capable of lifting 20-35 lbs. regularly and standing, bending, and moving for extended periods.

  • Willingness to work in different home environments, including garages, attics, storage units, and other areas as required.

  • Creative mindset with a willingness to suggest ideas and solutions that benefit clients.

Requirements:

  • Must be a fast learner with a desire to grow in the organizing and design profession.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain professionalism in varying environments.

  • Must have your own reliable transportation. 

  • Flexible availability, with hours ranging from 8 to 30 per week, typically between 8:30 am a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays

  • Must adhere to Order & Co.'s high standards of service, ethics, and professionalism.

  • Basic proficiency with smartphones and digital tools for communication and scheduling.
