Meghan

OWNER | ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGIST | CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Meghan’s entire professional career has revolved around style and organization.  After taking a leap 18 years ago and moving to the Nation’s Capital to work in special events, Meghan found herself as one of DC’s go-to Event Designers. She produced large-scale corporate events for 5000 to VIP intimate dinners at the State Department and everything in between. Meghan’s calling card was managing the countless details that made events unique and styled for each client. That is when Meghan really thrived, the more organizing and style needed, the more she shined.

Meghan left the hustle and bustle of DC five years ago to slow things down for her tribe, and are living their best life in Ponte Vedra. She decided she wanted to use her skill set for something new, something to connect with her community, something that could help people. Starting Order & Co. was a leap of faith for Meghan but she knew that between genuinely wanting to help people feel more at ease in their lives and her skill set of being an incredibly detailed boss bit$%h, she felt like she could make Order & Co. soar. The company has already grown exponentially and she has a vision of O&C reaching even greater heights.

OFFICE MANAGER | MEGHAN’S RIGHT HAND

  • After meeting my husband at the University of Mobile in Alabama, we got married in 2012 and moved to Chicago! We are both professional musicians, so he started touring and I used my education degree to start an orchestra program at a school. It was at our next stop in Indianapolis where we started having babies! I left my dream job of teaching to pursue my dream job of being a mom! Now with four children under the age of 8 (three boys and a little princess), I get to do both dream jobs as I homeschool! We are SO thankful to be in Florida and take every opportunity to be outside!!

  • With four young children at home, any ounce of peace in my surroundings is a welcome sight to create peace in my brain!!

  • I have played the violin for 25 years… oh and I’m a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon-Do!

  • I love that I get to help keep the organizing company organized in the behind the scenes details!

  • “Begin as you mean to go.” Intentionality in the start goes a LONG way!

  • Grew up in The Woodlands , TX, went to Texas A&M ! gig’em Aggies 👍 I am an only child , my dad passed away in 2004 and my mom moved with us to Florida and I love that she is a part of my everyday life and lives with my family! I have been married to Matthew for almost 20 years! We have 3 boys - Jackson 18, James 17 , John 15, and a mini beast / schnauzer 7 Sagi !!

  • It is so satisfying to finish a project and eliminate clutter that’s not needed . It really does clear space physically and mentally!

  • I made cake balls and chocolate treats for 10 years :)

  • My co-workers ! Laughing at work , getting to work with women I consider friends . And shopping 😜

  • Never take advice from people who aren’t getting the results you want to experience. If you don’t like what you see in the life of the messenger, it’s usually best to ignore the message.

  • I grew up in South Florida and I graduated from University of Miami…GO CANES! I’m completely outnumbered in my house with 3 boys and a husband and even a boy dog…So we got a girl dog.

  • I love organizing because I love the simplicity it brings to your everyday life. How many times do we hear “mom where is….?” I mean, I still hear it but I can give them a satisfactory dirty look when I look in the perfectly labeled bin with the thing they needed and swore they couldn’t find.

  • My theme song would be…”I wish” by Skee-Lo for those who are not old it goes as follows… I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller..

  • I love working for order and co and it’s hard to pick my favorite part. I love making someone’s life better and I love the gratification that comes from that. But honestly, the women I work for and with are my favorite part of my job.

  • The best advice I’ve received was when someone told me that taking time for myself doesn’t make me a bad mom, it makes me a recharged mom who can then give my kids the 100% they deserve.

ORGANIZATION SPECIALIST | INTERIOR STYLIST

  • I grew up in NY. I went to college and grad school in NY and Maryland. I am a mom of three girls (Reese, 12, Sloane, 10, and Emme, 7). My husband and I have lived in Florida for the last 9 years. He's originally from West Texas. Jacksonville is a happy medium for us (a little city and a little country, ha). We have two dogs (Ruby and Ranger).

  • I love organizing for other people because it feels like it really makes a difference in their day to day lives. I love the psychology behind why people keep certain things and the stories behind items. I really enjoy helping people realize they can have all the memories, but don't need to keep all the "stuff".

  • Hands down Bejeweled, Taylor Swift. Fun fact my tennis pump up song is Pump Up the Jam, I have to listen to that before a match!

  • The best advice I ever received was from my dad and is a variation on "Fake it until you make it." He used to tell me that no one likes to listen to a complainer so even if you aren't feeling your best pretend you are and soon you'll be feeling better than before.

  • My favorite time of the day (on a weekend when we have no commitments) is 8am when you have the whole day in front of you to do whatever you want! My favorite part of my weekday is 9pm. Everyone is usually home and I've successfully taken my kids where they needed to be and can relax!

  • I grew up in Fairfax, Virginia and attended James Madison University!

    oooo I love talking about my favorite people!! Well, I'm married to my best friend, Brad! We met when we were in middle school and "just friends" until I realized I gotta have him for the rest of my life and we started dating in college. He went to the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. Brad is an Officer in the Navy. We got married right after graduating college and off we went to San Diego, CA. We now live in Jacksonville, Florida with our 3 amazing kiddos, Landon 8, Hadley Grace 7 and Emerson 5.

  • I love the peace it brings to people’s lives.

  • Ain’t no mountain high enough

  • Everything!! I love the girls I get to work with, I love meeting the people we get to help and serve and learn about them!

ORGANIZATION SPECIALIST | MOVING COORDINATOR

  • I grew up in Westchester County, NY. After going to school at Marist College I worked in sales and manufacturing in the music industry. I moved to the city with my amazing fiance and got an opportunity to travel the world producing merch for different bands. I got to see some pretty amazing shows like U2, taking my nieces to see Justin Bieber and watching The Rolling Stones in their farewell tour. Jon and I settled down back in Westchester County, had two amazing little boys Chase and Parker, and while pregnant with our 3rd boy Drew, decided to move down to Florida. Best decision we ever made!!!! Now you’ll find us running around Nocatee with our awesome Great Dane, Remington.

  • I have gotten old and out of shape but I can still do a split 🤣

  • Here Comes the Sun (The Beatles) because nothing makes me happier than brightening someone’s day!

  • When I was in my 30’s my Dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He was my very best friend in the entire world and I couldn’t imagine life without him here. It was too overwhelming. My wonderful mother-in-law sat me down and told me not to think about the big picture and, to take everything one day at a time, one hour, one minute. Looking at everything all together was just too much so break it down and it really saved me from falling apart. I cherish those words of wisdom and give that advice to anyone who is going through a tough time and feels unsure they will make it through.

  • I love early in the morning before the kids are awake when it’s just my husband and I. And one by one our sleepy little boys come down and snuggle before the chaos of the day starts!
